The original sixth line, as the publisher was instructed by Wordsworth:
Ten thiousand dancing in the breeze.
This is far better than the generally known sixth line, 'Fluttering and dancing in the breeze, ' sicne if you know wild daffodils as they existed in the Lake District, their main attribute was their number, covering the hillsides in yellow. Furthermore, daffodills do not 'flutter.' Butterflies flutter, daffodils do not.
