      Whitman speaks of how he doesn't look down on this young women. He doesn't think that she is just an object of sex and lust but another person that is just like him. This poem is a poem in which Whitman speaks of equality and of his beliefs that you shouldn't judge a person because of what they do but by who they are inside. In other words you should judge people only after you get to know them.

      Whitman talks about death and lonliness. He writes about how this lonliness is felt inside of these people's hearts not only there brains.
