  • POEM: Fears Of An Involuntary Homosexual by Dan Brown (8/2/2006 3:57:00 PM)

Check out my poem, 'They Crucified Jesus' and remember none of us asked to be born this way. No body would volunteer to be ABUSED by society. Just like nobody chooses their skin color or what country they are born in or what language we speak. We are all exactly who are creator made us be. It is all part of the great natural beauty and infinitely diverse ways of this earth. It is not God who fears diversity. Just look at this planet and our solar system and know the truth of that. It is people and their 'ignorance' and 'fear of the unknown' and 'the other' that causes the problem. Straight people realized what a bad idea it was to let someone else (for example their parents) choose who they were to spend the most intimate moments of their lives with, hundreds of years ago. It is time for them to realize that it is not their place to tell us what is supposed to be in our hearts. And it is way past time for us to get over apologizing for who we are. it is time to call the oppressive and abusive behavior that straight people feel they are entitled to dish out to us exactly what it is. It is nothing but dysfunctional ABUSE!

  • POEM: At The End Of It All, What Will Remain? by William Jackson (8/2/2006 3:23:00 PM)

Another great poem pondering the very questions that I have asked myself. And interlaced with beautiful garden images. You have made me hungry!

  • POEM: A Clothes Line by sylvia spencer (3/22/2006 12:24:00 PM)

Just a quick note again. After I sent the last message to you I decided that I had time to read one quick poem. I gave you a 10 also. I liked the rhyme and the insight you gave to a clothes line. I will read and write more I promise.
