Allan, Jesus did love Judas, BUT Judus betrayed him as Jesus predicted. When the time came for Judas to ask forgiveness from Jesus for betraying him, he (Judas) did not think he was worthy of forgiverness so instead of trusting Jesus to fulfill his promise to forgive all who ask, he hung himself. He never had enough faith to ask. Remember that Jesus already knew what was going to happen and said at the last supper: 'Before the cock crows, one of you will deny me three times' Jesus knew, it was the deciples who did not know which one it would be.
The Church does forgive Judas because without him, History would not be what it is. It happened as it was intended to happen. Your poem has a good content and shows a fair amount of imagery. Keep on writing ant thanks for reading this....Judi
