  • POEM: Bullfighters: The Bull Bullies by s.zaynab kamoonpuri (12/9/2019 1:05:00 PM)

i see a message from you awaiting me. now to read about this " sport" .

nice title. but is it the bulls or bull fighters who are bullies? i guess i should read the poem.

2nd line: has yor keyboard lost its " u" , as mine just did?

stanza 5: i didn't expect to find a " masochism" definition to fit here, but i did: " (in general use) the enjoyment of what appears to be painful or tiresome"

  • POEM: Ode To Pillows by Sheshu Babu (12/9/2019 12:55:00 PM)

i 'accidentally' came back here. and i see i've already been here & commented. i also see that you have acknowledged receipt of my comment (thanks) but you did not make any changes...yet. oh, well. that is for you to do or not.

now i will go and let my pillow soak up my tears.

  • POEM: Deep Celeste (Poem For My Late Mother) by Eli Spivakovsky (12/8/2019 9:35:00 PM)

“taught me rainbow”? I found a sexual reference to “rainbow” when I Googled. Hmm?

“taught me dove”? could it be a typo? Australian slang?

I like the repetition of “Has she taken and passed the test? “

I guess I liked all stanzas, some a lot!

Is “frangipani lei” referring to a tropical tree(s) ?

I like that you went from asking questions to making statements.

    :)
