  • POEM: Defeating Gilgamesh by Daniel Brick (2/17/2020 1:07:00 PM)

Daniel, while reading this poem I enriched my vocabulary with many words! Slink, totter, cower, clutter, furry.
Blob - do you mean zero? Disgard in the end - do you mean disregard? And gory - you mean? Or you meant glory?
As for the meaning - under the king - is it you yourself or is it an image of slackening society?
Impressive picture anyway! Goes deep into my heart!

  • POEM: Conundrums by Daniel Brick (2/17/2020 12:52:00 PM)

Interesting to read to read this phylosophical poem, but it is really a conundrum to me, probably because I don't know the details about Booker Prize or politics. I feel that you convey pain about migrants, the wall, that relations become dehumanized? And furies are really scary.

  • POEM: The Poet by Rainer Maria Rilke (2/8/2020 4:47:00 AM)

Rilke - one of my favourite poets!
