Her Story Has Never Been Told.Ella Wheeler Wilcox

And so she lived and so she died,
Her story has never been told.
Until now I'll be your guide,
For one so noble and so bold.

Poor plain and humble in her dress,
Never craved for money or success.
Never lacking elegant lines of grace,
Never wondering how to face her fate.

Her incredible life was simply hope and love,
She was all that was decent and good.
Blessed were the lives that she touched,
By writing poetry every minute she could.

Until one sad day she passed away,
Cruel cancer robbed us of one of the Greats.
One day we'll meet Ella Wheeler Wilcox,
Now writing beauty behind Heaven's Pearly Gates.

Love lights more fires,
Than hate extinguishes.

We miss you Ella.
I miss you.
You are Heaven's Gain.
Reunited with your beloved Robert.
No more solitude.
